I can vouch for it in that it did what it was supposed to, but it really ed with her hormones and gave her awful cramps/dry periods/random bleeding. It was like one big, long, awful period. I almost ran out of bleach, too. :wtf:
And these are all side effects that come with the warning they give you, so it's not as though it was completely unexpected. They also say that it affects different women differently of course, too, so you may have a totally different experience.
But in the end, it's just not economically viable. Unless you have insurance, the depo shot is like $90 every 3 months, whereas there are a lot of better, cheaper, (possibly) even more effeective contraceptive options out there. |
