It looks as if Betsie Larkin will be performing live for ferry's set!! (The girl who sings "made of Love" on his new album! This night keeps getting better and better! Saw her live at Full On Ferry, and she has a great voice :)

All I'm hoping for is:

Main room:

Richie Hawtin 5:00am - 10:00am

(I wish, lol).

Might not be too far fetched. I have a feeling they will close Skybar early (8:00 / 8:30 ish) so it would be cool to have the option of going back downstairs to close out the night with an extended Richie set.

Richie owes Toronto a good set. Although he was pretty good at This is London in 2006, in my opinion he hasn't shown Toronto what he's made of since January 2004.

There has been a lot of anticipation building about his set on Canada Day. I hope he delivers so I can see this look:  on every single person's face in the Guv. :disbelief

Thanks guy! (although I'm be in the Orange Room, heh) :p

Man, this party has destruction written all over it...

I will def be stopping in to see what kinda madness u are bringin to the party. Even tho I'm not in toronto anymore I gotta support the localsss :)

Is Toronto expecting a freakishly long sunrise that morning or are Dubfire and Lawler tag-teaming? :wtf:

As of right now, I am planning on making a trip up for this. I am hoping to come up a few days early and would love to make plans to hang out with some TOTAs for Dahlback, Knight, this, and of course one of the boat parties... and possibly even Kyau & Albert in Buffalo. I haven't set any plans in stone yet, but if I do come up it would be cool to have a crew to hang with for several days of dancing debauchery.

Hey guys,

Just got word from Betsie Larkin (the vocalist for Made of Love) and she's coming from New York to perform live with Ferry at The Guvernment!!! How awsome is that!
It sucks that I'm leaving for Europe 5 days before and I'll miss this event. I hope to see some good videos recorded from those of you that are attending!!

Also last year the Skybar was such garbage... Lawler was playing some alright tunes but damn the whole vibe was just SKETCH CENTRAL.... Learn to party ppl :p

Your best bet is ticketmaster.
I believe they are $35 right now - so $40 after all the charges.

I think everyone agrees that last year was just sketchy/creepy/weird.

I am hoping with Hawtin and Ferry closing that sky bar wont be as rammed.

I keep fighting with myself about where Im going to spend my morning - but this type of skybar party happens once a year. And if it's weird like last year at least we will have many other places to escape.
