My boyfriend has heard the horror stories of going to South Beach memorial weekend from me.
At work (He happens to work with a few black ppl part time) - these 2 black guys said they were going to Miami this weekend and my boyfriend told them "my girlfriend hatesss SoBe on Memorial Weekend.. she refused to go blah blah"
pretty much laughing and telling them that the natives stay as far away as possible from the crazy that happens for that stupid ass Urban Conference bull . |

I'll probably end up going to el farito (I know you know which beach that is) or Crandon Park or something like that. All depends on the weather. You'd have to be out of your mind to go to South Beach this weekend. that! |

Insane. Before my mama retired she worked 911 on South Beach and this weekend (regardless if it was her day off or not) they would work Alpha-Bravo shifts.
Pretty much 7am to 7pm.. and 7pm to 7am..
The I would hear from her was just ridiculous. Soo many shootings etc..
ugh i fuking wish they would take it elsewhere. Definitely the best time to go to the Keys or Orlando. |
