Well folks, after 3 schools and 8 years (1 of them twice, 6 years apart) I have finally received my Associates Degree in Electronic Media Communications in the field of Radio/Audio Production.
I know I know, I'm awesome. Lots of people graduate from a CC in 8 years.
anyway, I've been going through the hellish process of applying for transfer to schools all around the east coast. NYU (Tisch) was #1 but it didn't happen.
So far I've been accepted to American Univ (DC) and Emerson College (Boston).
I'm still waiting on Northeastern (Boston), Northwestern (Chicago), and Miami.
if I get into NW i'm going. if I don't... I figure I might as well ask for the opinions of all my TA buddies. Seeing that I'm going to school for music production/recording/radio, I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience at any of the schools listed above.
thanks for the help yo! |

Tommy: Did you hear I finally graduated?
Richard Hayden: Yeah, and just a shade under a decade too, all right.
Tommy: You know a lot of people go to college for seven years.
Richard Hayden: I know, they're called doctors.

| well i cant tell you any advice regarding the major you want/program you are looking for.. but boston is awesome... the Northeastern area is beautiful.. im sure its expensive as hell there too, as well as many others you listed.. trance scene in boston is picking up! we got kyau and albert coming in june! and a lot more, thats the highlight for me. Chicago will have more trance events... i can imagine anyways. although that sounds cold.. but im sure your used to that. Good luck! let us know what you end up doing! :) |

| i went to northeastern... campus is really nice. took 1 or 2 music classes there (wasn't my major) so i can't really compare to other places. i thought berklee was the school to go to in boston for music? anyways i think trance scene is up and coming, only thing that sucks is everything closes at 2am... |

Well if you go to American University, I'll be your neighbor, and I would be happy to be a trance buddy!
But those are great schools, congratulations into getting into all of them! |
