so then after that fling, i said match.com and i cancelled my thing. then my girlfriend in miami calls me a day later and said "ok....so i'm trusting you here and i finally made a match.com profile":stongue: i had been bugging her to do it with me and she wouldn't. then i was going on dates and she was like, "hmm ok i'll try it".
so she urged me to sign up one more time and i reluctantly did it. and that's when i met patrick. before, i was just seeing who contacted me and going with it that way, but this time i decided to fill out the whole search option about what exactly i'm looking for and patrick's profile was like the 3rd one and i "winked" at him lol he responded right away and we emailed/text for about a week and then met up with a big group of friends that weekend. i told him i really didn't want it to be a serious date and that a group thing would take the pressure off and he was totally cool with it and brought his roommate at the time and i brought a couple that i'm friends with.
we got drunk and danced and talked all night and kissed at the end of the night and then the next day he text me in the morning and asked if i wanted to go jet skiing (shut up all of u right now lol) and i said hell yea.
and we're living happily ever after:gsmile: |
this story couldnt of gotten funnier..
but then i read the jetski thing and i guess i was wrong. |

:stongue: i know u did but you know how i am when i'm all caught up in something even though i know it's not a good idea. it's like i fight with myself lol
anyway i apologized to paul and everything is cool. after the TA drama and everything got aired out, i was really cold about it, but i felt bad in the end. even though he pulled a few stunts and really pressured me into that, he didn't deserve to get cheated on. |

Awe Jamie that's a cute story! Good for you. I know a lot of people that met on those kinds of sites... once you quit bar hopping and you're ready to settle down, it's hard to know where to go to find people.

| yea but the funny part was that i wasn't looking to settle down at all. i was really just half assed doing it. i was like, "i wanna go on some ing DATES". i wasn't looking for the one at all. of course it always happens like that though. |
