yeah for sure...and anyways, unless your listening to really bad house, most people i come into contact these days with either dont mind or like it enough not to say anything...

i find it funny that many of you think that musical taste is really one of the most important things when having friends.

don't get me wrong, i love music more than many people i know, but basing friendships on this alone is quite pathetic and probably explains why most of you have no friends.:p

Indeed, ye must be born again and see the light of dance music salvation! Away with all the unwashed heathen rock and jazz listeners!

:wtf:

Maybe it's different for you yanks but it's really not that uncommon to listen to EDM 'round here.

I wish it was like that here.

The last time I let someone listen to my headphones must have been 2 years ago. I was playing Lucky Pierre-Angels on Your Body and the reaction was simply  and then :nervous: and lastly, an uncomfortable silence.

Then I started hanging out with more people who went to raves and were used to electronic music. Pretty much everyone I kick it with knows I listen to a wide range of EDM. Except for all the Wal-Mart shoppers who straight playa hated when I bumped Feed Me-Raw Chicken as I cruised by.

if its one thing i understood, its that trying to get someone to like your music is just ing stupid. same goes to "unintentionally" playing/cranking up the volume of your music when you have guests. i just keep noticing i still do both sometimes but its plain stupid for sure:p music is for your personal enjoyment. if you start reviewing your music taste because most of your surrounding doesn't understand your music, you're no good. something like that...
