i find it funny that many of you think that musical taste is really one of the most important things when having friends.
don't get me wrong, i love music more than many people i know, but basing friendships on this alone is quite pathetic and probably explains why most of you have no friends.:p |

At one point I didn't have any friends that liked it...but I tried to convert them. Anyone who wasn't converted was simply phased out of my life over time. |
Indeed, ye must be born again and see the light of dance music salvation! Away with all the unwashed heathen rock and jazz listeners!

Maybe it's different for you yanks but it's really not that uncommon to listen to EDM 'round here. |
I wish it was like that here. |

The last time I let someone listen to my headphones must have been 2 years ago. I was playing Lucky Pierre-Angels on Your Body and the reaction was simply  and then :nervous: and lastly, an uncomfortable silence.
Then I started hanging out with more people who went to raves and were used to electronic music. Pretty much everyone I kick it with knows I listen to a wide range of EDM. Except for all the Wal-Mart shoppers who straight playa hated when I bumped Feed Me-Raw Chicken as I cruised by. |

| if its one thing i understood, its that trying to get someone to like your music is just ing stupid. same goes to "unintentionally" playing/cranking up the volume of your music when you have guests. i just keep noticing i still do both sometimes but its plain stupid for sure:p music is for your personal enjoyment. if you start reviewing your music taste because most of your surrounding doesn't understand your music, you're no good. something like that... |
