I have noticed by throwing out samples of hard trance tunes that I consider great, ether by youtube or by recording samples, that there are a lot of trance heads that you would never think would like hard trance, because they like people like A&B, that have said.."Who is that!!! Nice tune!". Like I said, if it is a trance tune and it sounds good, trance fans will like it. Though, I can't promise you that you will like any of my mixes. |

Well, I don't know if I was really "boasting". :p But then again...come to think of it....anyone who puts up a link, to their mixes or music, could be considered boasting, if you wanna get technical. :cool: But I really didn't wanna come across as arrogant and prideful. So, instead of boasting about my mixes, I thought it would be better to point out that other people do like these mixes....since, at that time, no one in this forum was giving them a listen. I don't know if that's boasting or not...Oh well, I hope you like the mixes. :) |

| Oh, my bad! :p I misunderstood you. Well, I hope you like the mixes. If you don't like the hard mixes, I also have a softer, more mellow trance mix called "Two Moons Of A Distant World." You might like that one. :) Personally, when mixing live, I love mixing hard trance, club trance, and hardstyle together in a set...with it being mostly hard trance...Might even throw in a techno and hard house tune in there. I love mixing it up...but not too much...My sound is mainly the hard trance sound. But will try to mix according to what the floor is liking. |

Honstly I miss the hard trance getting tired of all this electro and house . people that do like hosue and electro dont take offense I really like it too but im just sick and tired of it sinc deadmous5 and adam K are from my city you must know our town is filled with it.
p.s. - seriously im not bad mouthing house or electro "D I went to adam K; studio before too was soo much fun |

Your hardstyle set is pretty solid mate, really enjoyed it bar one or two tracks perhaps. Tight mixing all the way although there might be a little too much jumping on and cutting tracks for me but this is only a minor complaint and only my opinion of course. Tracklistings would be good too.
It's sad really for me too to see the hard trance/hardstyle scene over here take a back seat to electro house, a genre that is completely uninspiring and simply just boring imo.
Gonna grab some of your other sets too.

I used to watch DJ Wag spin at Paramount Park (RIP) in Rodermark Germany!! That was my favorite club!! To bad it had to end...But DJ Wag in' rocks!! So, does Kai Tracid (when he's not doing that minimal crap...I wish he would stop and make more hard tranc!!) and Talla 2xlc!! And Murusha when she's spinning hard trance!!
And thanks for the feedback guys! Yeah, I'll mix in the old trance, any day. I have no shame. :p But a lot of the new ravers have never heard of the older songs! So, to them, it's new. The dark trance mix was for a contest on di.fm. That wanted a mix that sounded good if you were drunk or high...I don't drink or do drugs...I really didn't know what they were looking for...but they did ask for me to go into this contest....And they were nice about it....So, I came up with that mix... |
