i'm not too good with the technical side of synths, but it's one of those detuned saw sounds i guess. there is a patch in sylenth with that exact sound you're talking of, ing love it |

You still could have more than one synth playing at the same time. Hardfloor's older tracks are well known for layers upon layers upon layers of 303s. |

Yes but that cannot be called chords. thats two separate baselines, with unique filter-settings, amp envelope and even unique sound because none of 303 sounded exactly the same.
