Hi all,

This summer I'm visiting Paris for a month and I really don't know much about city. I need some help! I'm going with a whole bunch of students, through a travel study program w/UCLA. If anyone has a link to a website or blog for a nightlife guide, it would help so much. I really want to check out scene (sorta underground), popular areas. I also enjoy French electro/house. I'm going to staying in this hotel:

I went to Paris last summer and I would HIGHLY recommend you get the Rick Steve's guide to Paris -- it's only about $12 and has great info on everything you'd want to see (well, maybe excluding the EDM scene). That book was a great help for me and not only did it save me money, it helped me plan my trip and figure out what things I wanted to see and what I wanted to avoid. Also, it has a bunch of great info you can carry around such as maps, commonly used phrases, etc.

Check out the France forum...I was there for 6 hours a couple weeks back on the way back from Egypt. The city is beautiful and manicured. But the people have the worst attitudes for the most part.

My buddy asked for a cup of water on Air France the stewardess straight out said NO. lol
