I've always wondered how this lovely glassy sound was made:

It appears at the start of "Wavy Gravy" by Sasha. It sounds like it could be done with an FM synth, so I'm having a go at it in FM7. But I figured anyone else who likes the sound might want to have a crack at producing it and see what you come up with.
I'm not requesting that you make a patch for me, by the way, just putting up a sound to see if you'd like to put your skills to the test.

Sounds like addictive synthesis
Absynth can do that type of sound/pad |

Call me crazy but I think the Virus TI could do something like this.
The wavetable oscillators have some "glassy" sounding ones and with the LFO and modmatrix, there's more than enough scope to get the sound to evolve the way it does.
Plus, Charlie May released a free soundset for the TI and many of the patches on that are of a similar nature to this one. |
