This woman should be fired. Anyone who exercises such hasty and poor judgment has no business being in the health profession. It really doesn't matter what her position is.

The worst is how she says "a license was not granted". Actually, a permit WAS given. Giving a permit and then refusing to honour it a day before the event is not the same as never giving the permit in the first place.

In my opinion, Bridgepoint should be on the hook for every dollar spent on putting this together that can now no longer be repaid by the event proceeds, and if they're not willing to do that, they should be taken to court over it.

How about she pay all the expenses that it cost to get that place in order for the event? And pay $5 towards each person's refund.

How about she pay each and every one of us back for our costume costs, time we spent getting to and from ticket locations, and most importantly, the time and effort put in by Jelo, Evan G and the whole Activate Crew... This party was about FUN for a group of people who rarely cause problems.

I think I'll arrest her and cuff her with my fake handcuffs and leave her at the Don overnight.. hee hee. :)

FunkyCrew
can we maybe petition this?

Even if this event is re-scheduled, I dont know if I can play now. I delayed surgery to play at this event. My surgery is tomorrow... I wouldnt be recovered by next weekend anyway. grrrrr. I might be ok by the following weekend though!!!

So we all have early Halloween Cop costumes... We can surely do something with them, either for halloween or before then!

I say we wear them and walk down the Gardiner and protest against the chick who blocked our party!

Wow.....

I was in Montreal this weekend thinking about how great this party would have been. Got in today expecting to see amazing reviews and photos. To my dismay, I read this thread.....
