Yep. There it is. A boulder... blocking my progression.
Got the chord progression going nicely at the breakdown. The strings come in... and bam! - - - Smashed out - - - ...
and well, it just doesn't fit quite like you would wan't it too.
There's a problem with the strings. Imaging and reverb - pherhaps more! The width of two hard panned reverb sends is nice... but the specral image is , well ... at least somewhat compromised. Two stereo reverb channels? Sure, i think it's a problem but cutting left or right from each widely panned reverb synth send just doesn't cut it either.
This song is taking me there but I'm having difficulty achieving the appropriate balancing of the strings. (width, reverb, depth)

Have you tried inverting the phase on one of the stereo channels? |

i'm with eddie , i think his advice is good. kinda hard to give you advice since there is no sample, butit also might be a possibility that there is too much wetness or decay in the reverb. |
