Two things.
1. I originally just asked why didnt alot of peeps down there go to burridge cause most people who post in this atl section are fans of his. I wasnt insinuating people should be going out for the sake of going out...:p
2. Im a huge fan of many genres and artists within edm. I go for the music man. Just while im there enjoying music...yes i like to drink some brewskis, flirt a little, and attempt to dance.:D Im far from a "party head" who goes for the sole purpose to party. I just enjoy the party while im there for the music.

yeah, in fact I'm very pissed that i missed this show.
sheer exhaustion kept me at bay on friday night. i mean, the weather didn't help either, but had i been any more energized i would have been there.

he's a good one. He keeps a good vibe throughout the night. When i saw him last there was approx 25-40 people max but he didnt give a ...he was dancing himself behind the booth just having a good time. The guy is ace.:happy2: |

I wasn't trying to say anything. I was just stating that I personally will only go out for the music itself. There really is no other reason for me unless it's meeting up with friends. So, if it's not an A+ artist, I probably won't go out anymore. Burridge doesn't do anything for me. I wasn't even trying to say some people only go out for the other things, but certainly not directed at you. I never thought you weren't passionate about the music. Honestly, you seem like you are really immersed in the scene. I hope to meet you out in the field sometime. |

no doubt man...gotta go out for what ya like. Im coming down for pvd and sasha/digweed show. I know your mainly into trance but you should come out for the sashdiggers night. Gonna be a good night. |

yeah, i bet. i wonder how many people made it to see him last night. right before i was about to leave to go downtown, there were some thunderstorms that were moving through the area.
man, whoever made it out.. i bet he tore it up.
did you happen to see the earlier post in this thread by renzo saying that the fire marshall had to shut down his set in florida the next night? proper turn out for lee. |

haha yeah i did...that's odd. I havent seen anythign like that since the "rave era". Luckily they leave us alone in charlotte now since the scene isnt druggy like that. Back in 99-2002 they used to shut club nights down all the time, frisk people, arresting everybody left and right. Those days were nuts. We used to have a long running once a year party called flavor. Police and fire marshalls would go nuts on us. I remember seeing the event on the news one time showing all the rave kids arrested laying on the pavement in hand cuffs with like 900 ravers screaming at the cops for doing so. It was like a mini rave riot lmao. |

Definately planning to be at that. Even a trance lover like me knows they aren't to be missed. Don't they play a little trance anyways? |
