does anyone know if they will have the upstairs playing different music with the glass over the balcony? (like above and beyond)
if the crowd gets to crazy at least i can go upstairs...but if they are playing something else...that is going to suck... |

lately either its open for hip hop or its closed....they no longer do it where they keep it open with the music from downstairs to be heard.
did that make sense? lmao i had a hard time explaining that. |

ok so they no longer keep the balcony open with one type of music playing throughout?
that is ty...i would understand if they did that with a smaller dj playing...but if you know a dj is going to pack the house...leave it open...
but then again i believe upstairs is 18+ playing hip hop and r b
so pacha has to make their cash both ways...... |

yuppers. and it gets QUITE packed up there.....its like fighting with people for room, and you have to go up there lately to get outside to smoke, which sucks ASS! |

depends on what you want. but itll probably be around 350-400 for 4 people.
if you want a good VIP its a little more. they may do the stupid "until 2am" thing- then you get moved, which usually was well worth it for me- but last time the bitches moved us, took our bottle put it in a caraf and put us in the back of the house and treated us like dirt.
which was understandable since they were so INCREDIBLY ed up---they even asked us "can i buy more pills off you?" ---we never sold them nor were we even DOING that so why our waitress asked us, we're still not sure

above and beyond was pretty unbearable...do you think this is going to be worse?
when i was there for above and beyond i actually tried to bribe the bouncers to get into vip but they were not going for it...so we spent half of our time in the basement where it wasnt packed.
maybe the rainy weather tomorrow will scare off half the crowd? |

above & beyond wasnt that bad, imo!!! hahaha we had vip and it was a great night, everyone working there was fabulous the crowd in VIP was great and we could get out to smoke any time we wanted.
THEN we went to benassi and it was a complete 180 of that :(
sooo...i think youre in for a not so fun night for ATB...LOL. SORRY!
last year it was much worse, so i would assume itll be the same. UNLESS of course Pacha has pissed off so many people that no one WANTS to be there. but i doubt it.
and no, she wasnt trying to get us kicked out. she was high as hell...i wanted to take her eyes and open them FOR her as well as give her a mouth guard because I was afraid she may chip a tooth! |

From everything I've read and heard, this will be much worse. As someone previously mentioned, the last time he was there was supposedly one of the most crowded nights EVER at Pacha. At least if the entire place is unbearable, then there will be no reason to leave the front, haha. |

| urghhhh.... you guys cannot be serious about this friday. i saw atb in dc at fur, and it was siickly packed and lots of went down. dunno what makes pacha much worse. |

| i agree with jojo. it was so ridiculously packed when atb came to fur that it was not even bearable. i left after a few hours. |

| I hope Made sees this tread and next time books him at a larger venue (hammerstein or roseland). How did Ferry do at Webster hall crowd wise, maybe they could even book him there? |
