I have to say that Jason really tore it up on Friday; from the moment he stepped up he kicked things into gear with a rocking track and never let up from there. the set was quality and felt like it should have been played in a bigger venue like hammerstein ballroom I was thinking. JJ had told me earlier that he'd be playing all new trax that night and it was true. I didn't know many of the earlier trax which made up the first few Killer hours, it was later in the night that I recognized 16 bit lolitas & ohmna-take it or leave it and a few other numbers. a very nice set and diverse too, with something for everyone, yet somehow still being a consistent and even set. I've always been a fan of JJ but a set like this shows his merit as a quality dj. I have to say that I enjoyed his set much more than seaman/warren last week at pacha and that's saying a lot..
with the crowd turnout and enthusiasm, I think JJ might need a bigger venue soon!
Keryn and Dani were also doing good things when I got there, and they set things up nicely for JJ with some choice sick house tunes of their own. altogether a great night of music |

yo this was sick on Friday!
Jason really threw down proper, I stayed until around 3:30 / 4:00 or so. The club was great too, like just the right sized crowd, the dancefloors were full but the stairs and halls and weren't. I had an awesome time! |

well that's 2 good reviews there from 2 guys named Rob, lol
true, the crowd was the right size that night..if it were always like that I don't think I would mind pacha at all |

I agree with the above posters. Jollins never disappoints at Pacha. To all those who always complain about Pacha being too crowded, you really dropped the ball if you missed this one. Just enough space on the dance floor to enjoy yourself.
I have plenty of videos, will post some later on. |

Great night indeed. I agree with everyone's assesment of it being the perfect size crowd. It was full, but not uncomfortably packed. Musically, Keryn and Dani played a pretty perfect set to leave Jason off with. And what can I say? I have been listeing to Jason for years now, and he always delivers.
Whats this I hear about a late night trance session though? :toothless I thought we bounced right before closing (sounded like he wound his last track down and dropped an encore). Apparently he kept going for another hour and a half. Wish we would have known it was going later. Next time! |

| Yeah what was this encore Jason was speaking of before the party :) |

idk. He played what I thought was his final track, and then dropped a cool hard progressive house track as an encore. Apparently they told him to keep going and he played an hour and a half of banging trance.
Sorry about the gf/sister comment btw lol. |

| I had soo much fun on Friday! First off let me say that Dani did a wonderful job opening up the night with some great deep house! Like everyone else has already mentioned the crowd was just perfect! The place had filled in nicely in time for Jason's set and let me tell you Jason played some amazing stuff throughout the night! My favorite segment of his set however was between 3-4:30. He was playing some HUGE bombs in there going from dark prog house tracks to straight up techno tracks, it definitely had me moving! A little sad we missed the trance at the end of the night though . I also wanted to mention that everyone did a great job in the basement and I specifically liked what Aaron was playing down there, he was just no holds barred and I loved it! |

Hi guys,
Thanks so much for the nice words and it was great to see so many of you there :)
That was so much, I wish we could do it every week! Pacha was very happy with the night and we are in talks of planning another one. I'll definitely keep you all updated with that.
I'm still waiting for StarSoprano's picks and videos but apparently she just moved and doesn't have her computer hooked up yet. Sounds suspicious :)

Hahahahahah^^ I just read that. :tongue2 And I was just going to write the same thing in here.
I had a fantabulous time! Jason, you rocked the house and the crowd loved it! I don't think I've seen so many people still on the floor at closing in a looong time.
I did just move and none of my computers are hooked up. I've been checking TA from my blackberry and my Mom's computer. None of which are helpful for uploading photos. |
