Heyz all,
Just another mp3.com fling probably, but at the moment, they've put my artist page on hold for an unknown reason, without my notice in any way whatsoever. I mean, how rude can you be towards your customers by doing that? And on top of that, I really don't have a clue why they did it... for shame :(
Anyone as mispleased with mp3.com as I am now? I've always spoken in their benefit (free space, free promo's from time to time etc) and now they do this. I can't stand it anymore...

yeah, i know... but there's lots of work to it actually. and i need some reliable place to store my music...

I left mp3.com nearly a year ago and have never looked back since...
I had a friend whose whole page was taken down because they claimed he had used copyrighted material... and they wouldn't even tell him until he had mailed them about 10 times.
Strangely enough, that happened soon after he started getting a lot of hits there... makes you wonder... |

yeah, a friend of mine's site was taken down as well due to too many hits and causing them too much money... the claimed he was 'gaming' back then, little bit childish reason ;)
i've received lots of hits recently as well, but only because they promoted one of my tracks THEMSELVES so that's VERY VERY stupid by themselves... if too many hits is in fact the reason why my page was on hold.
i have emailed them, but yet had no response worthy of any explanation. though i'm with PAS, it should be in soem 24 hours that they normally should reply to my message. silly mp3.com...
i'm gonna change from mp3.com as well though, i've 'supported' them long enough and got nothing in return, except for that little promo they did themselves that's probably gonna cost my page :(

I'm sorry to hear about your page Lightworks. I can't see why they would do something like that becuase you would think that mp3.com wanted more visitors... Why is it that they want some artists to be popular and some not?
I've heard rumours about stuff like that and I think it's really a shame that they can't do something like that, and even doing it without telling you why they do it.
You had a very nice site on mp3.com, a lot of visitors. I'd be really pissed if something like that happent to me :confused: |

i have put so much time into getting that mp3.com site until where it is now... it's been a beacon of where i kept my music for ages, and if that would be gone forever, i'd really be sad :(
i've emailed mp3.com to get some answers now, hopefully they'll give me a non-to-silly explanation why putting it on hold.
