Nahh, Forget about the intros. I figured i'd jump right in. some people will figure out who i am. Next week I'll have shelly do a pic as an avatar. don't really feeel like figuring that out.
Thank you i will have fun at Hawtin! And we should probably start a dance circle for good measure as well on skybar.
Another side note. I offered your man a ticket to tonights game and he turned me down. :(

| Played till 4 am both nights...I saw him 3 x's in a row...and tbh he played his best set (more techno) in dc...i loved his all night set friday and last nite was really good as well...his sound isnt for everyone but I enjoyed all 3 shows and all 3 shows were different |

I doubt it was Richie's decision. I'm pretty sure Love has a strict 4AM closing time now. |

| he spun till almost 4:30 at Saturday's event. i enjoyed myself even though i was actually really sick and fighting a bad fever (sudifed ftw). my friends had a good time as well, but i'd be lying if I said I didn't feel slightly disappointed. lurking around various techno dens in ny i've heard better minimal/tech live sets within the past 6 months from DJs like Ryo Murakami & Takuya Morita, Marcel Dettman, Camea, and Derek Plaslaiko. idk, I guess I just expected more based on what I've already heard this year.. still, it wasn't bad. I really enjoyed Ambivalent's set as well. definitely a good warm up for Dettman's set this friday :) |

Thanks to all that came out to the events this past weekend.
We (blkmarket membership) were really happy with everything and working with the minus team went very well. Got very good feedback from friends and people that we met on both nights.
I have to say that when you get to see a dj as big as Richie at LOVE its really something special.
Due to what happened 2 weeks ago at LOVE, the management really had no other choice than to play by the official rules and shut down the club at 4 on the dot (although we went until 430am)
In the past when we have done events there, we have gone till 5-6 even 630.
We also were limited to a smaller capacity than we were planning per the club.
With these obstacles i really think it still came together just right and we had a really good team working with us from start to finish (staff / friends / minus)
To whoever did make it to the events this past weekend, thank you for being part of a great weekend.

| I was a little disappointed with Richie as well. I'm gonna see him tues in Toronto again and really hoping for more. However I really enjoyed Ambivalent and had a ton fun no matter what!! |

Melly, YOU'RE awesome!!! haha, you'd be even more awesome if you still came saturday night since your flight was postponed. but nonetheless i will probably see you again soon.
I had a good time saturday night. Hawtin's set was good as was Ambivalent and Barem's especially IMO. Hadn't been back to LOVE in almost a year either so it was good to step foot back in there. |
