| interesting tl. last nocturnal i heard in was in 06 and it was mostly melodic trance with an acid breaks curve ball in the middle, but he's the one guy that knows how to string that sound together tastefully. got a link to that podcast? |

exactly...the trance he does play is really good . Im a trance fan but i love house/progressive just as much. His show actually might be my favorite besides the Gareth Emery podcast. |

But honestly, that's a big problem with the Circus crowd. Sorry, but I don't wanna offend anyone, but most of the crowd that goes there is very close minded. They only want trance, if you play anything but trance they leave. |

Yes but that goes every way. If a traditionally techno or house DJ at Avalon played trance, I'm sure the place would clear out in nothing flat. I have more than a few friends who's head would probably explode lol.:stongue:
I'm sure most people who went expected trance as that's what he use to play. Hell, Circus probably thought he was going to play trance. Granted, people should be a little more educated on what they are going to see. |

yeah i remember that hahaha. he said something like "i know this is a trance club but i'm gonna play prog house" i liked what he played, but i was outside talking for most of his set |

From what I heard, Circus was hardstyle last Saturday and my friend said it was packed! I think that the crowd leaves when the quality of the music suffers, which is clearly what happened during Darey's last set imo...I was there... :sadgreen: |
