perfect show to come out for. Too bad your not headed out for pvd.

PvD has honestly been a failure his last two shows...just straight up failure...

ATB was ing on fire tonight. One of the best shows I've been to, period.

PVD's got a tough act to follow. Hell, as far as I'm concerned, any DJ who ever performs in Atlanta is in trouble, as ATB's set a new and absurdly high standard for DJ performance. Many of the tunes he played were familiar, but mixed or mashed up in a unique way that breathed new life into them. And his physical performance and connection with the crowd put most other trance DJs to shame: rarely were we subjected to the typical head-bob and clapping we might get from Tiesto or PVD, but instead ATB kept moving to the music and interacting with the audience from the start to finish (though he did slow down briefly about 3/4 of the way through?). In terms of serving an animated performance, he might even beat Above & Beyond's Paavo, which is pretty damn good. Dude played the hell out of that air-piano and air-snare. I sadly failed to find and enjoy Sam's friend and her girls as directed, but it was an incredible night regardless.

... Okay, uh, time to head to work. Thankfully I'm still alert (and shaking) thanks to all the Red Bull consumed last night and this morning.

I was skeptical of going and I am so glad I went. He threw it down. I have been going to shows for 10 years and was blown away at the energy and the ability to toy with the crowd. We kept chanting ATB and he keep turning the sound off and provoking the crowd to cheer louder. The played ecstasy as his 1st track and threw Airbase feat. Jes- My Love. It was awesome. I am so glad that I went.

I completely agree with you. Last night was insane.

Hahah, that guy sure liked to hear his name. I believe I initiated the ATB chant quite a few times, and it was pretty startling how quickly he heard us and cut the sound. It's also cool that he started greeting his fans towards the end, long before Opera staff had a chance to kick everyone out (I managed to give ATB a solid terrorist fist jab). Similarly, I'm shocked he gave us one more track, as Opera's usually eager to shut down immediately at 2:45am. Not sure what time it ended last night.

ATB was one of the best dj's i have ever saw in my life. Sick track selection, and hes so animated and into the music. I warned you guys what was in store for you...haha everyone came back feeling like me. Did he drop any rock ?? Hes been getting into dropping a rock record mid set lately and here in america...thats like numero uno way to please people.

AVB or ATB ? You have both listed in somewhat of a run on explanation...makes no sense.

Ended at 2:53am according to my cell phone.

I definitely recognized a lot of tracks...but I cannot put a name to most of them sadly.

ATB - 'Til I Come (9 PM) (he had samples from this mixed and thrown around everywhere, worked really well)
ATB - Ecstasy (opening ing track!)
Tiesto - Traffic (sad that I have to go to a ATB concert and not a Tiesto concert to hear this!)

If anyone could post tracks they heard, it'd be appreciated.

I definitely heard a few other classic ATB tracks...at least I thought I did haha. Been listening to Seven Years so much...can't remember what I heard in the car and what I heard at the club :)

he just came out the woodworks with traffic. I havent seen that track much in his tracklist but its a helluva tune to bring out after a while of no one hearing it.

Sorry, very tired. I meant ATB, but typed AVB out of habit.

Meet Me in Montauk was the second track. I also recognized the Perfect Blue melody in some remix or mashup, and there was also an Imogen Heap remix. Aside from that, I always have trouble recalling tracklists the day after ...
