Yamaha VStar's are nice bikes. They have a low center of gravity & the 1100 has alot of power. Kinda has the look of a low rider harley. My buddy's dad has one & he gets asked all the time about his harley lol

what year is that, also in miles or km?

edit: Is that a custom or is it the classic? Looks like a custom with a bigger tire.

Are you sure thats an 1100? Looks like a 650. The 1100 has the V-Say symbol as an emblem & the 650 has it as a sticker type on the gas tank which it looks like from the pic.

Well if your credit is good, most banks should be able to give you a loan. Bike loans normally have significantly higher interest rates than cars.

Ive had a total of 8 bikes in my life. 4 were street & 4 were dirt. Just remember you only have about 3-4 months max of decent comfortable riding weather. So you have to think is this an investment you want to make or is it just impulse. I only say this because i think it wasnt too long ago & you were gonna buy a sailboat to live on or something. I dunno could have been another ta.

also it looks like a custom front end with a classic tire.

offer him $3000

Do you EVER go through with any of your hair-brained schemes, or are you just content with sitting at home and imagining them?

I'm actually sorta interested in resale, the bike totally feels like it is worth atleast $5000.

its not. You can get those brand new for $8500 & the one your looking at is 4 years old with alot of miles. Offer him $3000 then maybe settle for $3500

remember customizing doesnt always raise the value of a bike
