Hey Krypton, not sure if you read my PM or not. Was just trying to get some literature on proof that Socialism works. History proves otherwise but since you support it so much, I'm just trying to understand your side and many others.

The first part of my sentence would explain my confusion as to why their education is having trouble financialy, while having a ton of money stolen from its citizens to help pay for it. |

They don't have a failing education system. I know a lot of Swedes and they are all very intelligent and well read. They also speak very good English.
They are not being robbed either. They agree to pay these taxes, and they are a democratic society in which they could change these policies if they really wanted to.
Instead they believe that the state can provide services, such as education, better than anyone else if they are given the money to do so.
Its a different culture and a different system than the United States and you are allowed to disagree with it on a personal level. Making a statement saying that they are being robbed, on the other hand, sounds ignorant and US-centric in your mind set with little ability to understand how other people see government. |

You were making a connection between a failing education system and their taxes.
The FACT is that they do NOT have a failing educational system and that it can be tied directly to the high amount of government funding that the school systems receive, and that amount of funding comes from the high tax rate. |

Sure they do.
And as history has shown us over and over again, Socialism will fail. It has in Sweden before and it will again. I suggest before typing without thinking, again, go back to 1970. |
