Production can be discouraging at times when you can't get the sounds you want, or none of the melodies or rhythms you come up with are sounding any good. What are some of your favorite tunes that help you remember why you want to produce, and inspire you to keep going?

Here are some of mine (YouTube links):

William Orbit - "Water From A Vine Leaf" (Acid Bath Mix)
William Orbit - "Water From A Vine Leaf" (Xylem Flow Mix)
Spicelab - "Spice Is A Full-time Occupation"
Bedrock - "Set In Stone"
Visions of Shiva - "Perfect Night"
Young American Primitive - "Daydream"
Brian Eno - "Dunwich Beach, Autumn, 1960"
EddieZilker
The Streets - Weak Become Heroes (Ashley Beedle Remix) Also Royksopp's Memory Lane Mix of same tune.

There are others, but that one really stands out.

Funny you should post this, last night I lost all inspiration and just couldnt come up with the goods. Was fustrating as I was all ready and set up with some new equipment to use, but its not mine so only have limited time.

I would have to say most material by BT.

Cybernaut - Hydrophonics
Brownsound
Hallucinogen - Twisted album

in fact, i just copied "Alpha Centauri" bar for bar with my own melodies to figure out what is going on so i can learn how to make my own tracks sound more natural. so far it's helped me an assload.

its pretty much the same thing as tabbing a song out on guitar.

Dj Tiesto - Magikal Journey
