all i am saying is that it is up to you to add the oomph. the frequencies are very clean on this track so cut and mash with one night in nyc:p

Well that's basically what I meant, I really like it on it's own but I think layered over a heavier bassline it might... be good.

I'm starting to prefer softer percussion in tech house music. This track is well balanced and that's what's important. It's always better IMO to do less than more. Because if a track needs more of something, that can easily be integrated in the mix. But if there's too much of something then that can't exactly be removed unless you have the individual tracks.
