Hey all!
I am just listening to the radio rip of Armin's rendition of the oldie but goodie, Seven Cities. It takes a lot for a producer to remix such a well respected track. This one is for the record books. Not in the least bit cheesy or predictable. This may be the best remix of this track to date. What do you think???

I think it is a good remix, still prefer the original though. The track has such great power that it does not need to be rebuilt. But I have to admit that Armin did a good job, I especially like the replacement of the guitar with a synth sample.

Yes, it's an incredible remix. Armin has really been on a roll lately. I can't decide if I prefer the original or Armin's remix, because they're made in totally different styles, but they are both excellent tracks.

Armin's mixes of late have really had the same sound and energy, but this one is different. You know going into it, he needed to create something that was going to really win the fans fo this track over. Just liek Marco V's rendition of Cafe Del Mar. A classic track that can never be replaced, but Armin has stretched the boundaries of this track and I give him props for this, it hasn't lost a step at all!! I would like to se a PVD remix of a classis, a la Love Stimulation...The Music is relentles, it keeps coming..if you miss one day fo new music, it feel slike you are out of the loop! I love it! !!

lol.
shall we make a pole on this..
personally i dont think armins added anythign new to the track. its a bit old now, lots of remixes out there already. think the v-one remix is better than armins in comparison, and i liek the ambient dub adn transatlantic mix the best |

The Michael Woods remix is nice too...very Ferry Corsten-ish, methinks. My favourite is the V-One's Living Cities mix though even though all the mixes are up there.
