Last time I saw Morillo here in Toronto he was playing progressive trance. Not the same Morillo I used to hear back in the day in NY period. |

| By the way I posted in another thread about Behrouz v. Josh Wink at Shine in Miami on July 3rd. This should be a nice warm up to the festivities that weekend. My ticket and hotel is set and I'm hoping the weather will be nice to catch some rays. |

Where did the discussion have anything to do with how great space was nine years ago? you said space is done, and I pointed out that its been going nine years strong and not to mention its still highly profitbale. Your post was poorly thought out not mine. And for the record, Ive been going to the space since 2001 myself, which guess makes me cool like you. So buy some stock in it then. Hey Charles Schwab, answer me this... If it's going so strong, why is hip hop in the Main Room on the biggest night of the week? I guess for that profit your so concerned about? So a club that makes a lot of money that's been around the longest can't be "done?" It makes it the coolest club to go to in your book? I am not talking about the business side, but about the patrons'... the vibe and music. Space lost it's luster a while ago.

I must say that I pass on Morillo in NY all the time. I just can't stand the clubs/crowd he attracts.
Morillo on the terrace in Miami is pretty fuking fun. Great vibes from the crowd.
It's really all not that big of a deal. Shut the fuk up and head out @ 5am.. (if you could even get in) because I am pretty sure that is gonna be at capacity and ridiculous. |

| Whoever goes, have a great time. It's the biggest weekend of the summer. Sorry for the conflict, I rarely do the whole forum argument. I was so planning on going to Miami for the 4th. But after seeing Morillo in Vegas Memorial Day, I just wanted to see something better. |

Charles Schwab, Dude are u serious? please get to walgreens and grab a pack of tampons already, and quit putting words in my mouth. I never said its the coolest club, but you can cry all you want ask any industry insider and they will all tell you that space still is very profitable, so they decided to switch it up in the mainroom with hip hop, big deal. and I used to be a space regular back from about 02-04, yes when it still had "its luster" as u put it, and I agree that place crowd wise and vibe wise has fallen off, i never said it didnt. Thats why I chose to pretty much only go to special events, when I know the music will be to my liking and there will lots of prime booty in the joint. sorry man, but your just another idiot on the small yellow bus.. |
