Bluetech- Honey in the Heart EP (AlephZD02)

Release Date: June 9th, 2009

Beatport Exclusive: https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html...he%20Heart%20EP

As a complementary to the new album from the master of downtempo electronica - Bluetech - The Divine Invasion, Aleph Zero is happy to present you with Honey in the Heart EP. With this EP, Bluetech, labeled by the New York Times as “one of the best ambient artists” crosses over to new territories.
We gave the happy bubbly dubby original with its swaying groove to three dance masters for their interpretation. Electronic & techno music pioneers System 7 deliver a technoish mover with great classic acid vibes and grabbing groove; The rising force in the techno and house scene, Fiord, present us with a no nonsense sneaky dancefloor shaker; And last but in no way least, Bedrock’s phenom Guy J gives us a caressing hypnotic emotional anthem with a beautiful irresistible melody.
As a bonus, Bluetech adds a slow dubby mover for the chillfloors - Hungry Ghosts.

Track list:
1. Honey in the Heart
2. Honey in the Heart (System 7 remix)
3. Honey in the Heart (Fiord remix)
4. Honey in the Heart (Guy J remix)
5. Hungry Ghosts

Some of the support the EP got:
Support for the Guy J remix - Sasha
Full support for the Guy J remix - John Digweed (Bedrock)
“Guy J & Fiord remixes rock!” - Hernan Cattaneo (Renaissance)
"I really like the original version of Honey for the Heart, a beautiful track." - Sebastian Mullaert (Minilogue)
“Killer release!!! Fiord and Guy J´s mixes are just Huge! Full support.” - Pena (Flow)
"Really like the system 7 remix! Thanks for this EP!" - Eelke Kleijn
“Guy J remix I’ll play for sure. System 7 remix is really wonderful, I love this London Acid House vibes and it’s great!” - Zombi (Maxim, Blue Tunes)
“Bluetech has always been a favorite of mine, and now Aleph Zero has taken his music to the main floor with pumping dancefloor remixes. Fiord is my pick from the lot, with a deep and dark version to the blissful original sounds of Bluetech. Top stuff!” - Ace Ventura (Iboga)
“Original & Guy J Remix for me.. top notch deepness!” - Miki Litvak
"Nice progressive reworks for ‘Honey In The Heart’, something for everybody! My choice here is Guy J mix! Well done" - Alex Tolstey (Boshke Beats/ The Rockitmen)

You know, he got paid to do it, he didn't "choose" (though of course he wouldn't do it if he didn't like the original and thought something good can come out of it).

I'm sure that if you'll pay him and make sure you own the rights, and he like the tracks, and he has time, he'll be happy to remix them.

Good luck :p

He did already remix them and played them in his sets/shows, but so far he or the record companies haven't cleared them for an official release. ;)

I want that Scape One remix as well, it's bloody brilliant.

2B honest i don't care 'bout the releasing rules, i'm a fan who can pay some money for good track, when is bad/boring/average money is still in my pocket, simple philosophy well known for every producer&label owner I hope. And now the copyright, Saints & Sinners for ex., Pushin Too Hard was released in Bedrock, place of most Guy's releases last time. Remix made in 11/2008, played by Sasha/Digweed(Bedrock's owner)/Cattaneo is still unreleased, why, i don't know

Listened to them some more and they're definitely among the best trance and progressive house i've heard this year.
