Meh. Maybe it's a bunch of B.S. ... but I believe in it. :conf: |
I'm assuming you're referring to Rupert Sheldrake's experiments with Morphic Resonance? |

got tested for that.
eeg's suck
you have to lay really still and close your eyes with like 50 electrodes on your head while they flash a strobe light on you trying to induce a seizure.
it was like a danceless rave |

what "energies" would these be? and who (and where) have they been proven? |
|

| actually, as much as i'm a big beleiver in the whole "energy" discussion, i guaruntee you the seizure dog thing has more to do with scent. there has to be a scent given off the body before a seizure occurs and it's so subtle only super sensitive noses can pick it up (like a dog's). so after seeing a few, i'm sure if the dog is smart enough, it starts making the connection with the scent and can easily be trained to bark when the smell is there. |

yeah, i read a bit on his page after you posted it the first time. i didn't locate anything that i would describe as "proof". if there was something i missed feel free to draw my lazy attention to it :) |

Mine too.
Anyway, I actually haven't found anything that would constitute "proof". What there is of his research documents some seemingly definitive correlations and observations for which morphic resonance/fields provide an explanation (albeit with a bit of sharp-shooter's logical fallacy).
In his book, A Sense of Being Stared at, Sheldrake submits that when a slug is cut into three portions across its length, each portion seems to intuitively know which parts need to grow back. Again, not proof but a theory with some circumstantial evidence supporting it - especially when taken in conjunction with the bulk of his research. |
