Did you even watch the last 3 games?
Those games could have gone either way. Some great pitching matchups Friday-Sunday.
To say the Redsox weren't in the games is a clueless statement. |

thursday and saturday they werent.....friday night was a classic.....last night was all yankees until late..... |

They had their chances Saturday...Sabathia was able to pitch out of some jams.
How was last night all Yankees? No runs were scored until the 7th with the Redsox leading in the 8th until the Yankees ran off 4 runs w/ 2 outs. Another great game... |

| Can't win without scoring runs for 27+ innings regardless how well Sox pitch. We are in the slump right now (bad timing). Don't see us overtaking Yankees now, but wild card will do just fine. I know that Yankees are playing better than they really area and we are playing worst, things will even out eventually. |

lol dont be mad because the red sox didnt score for over 30 innings. IMO, not scoring for that long is a pathetic showing. Both teams pitched well, but if you cant get across the plate for that long, thats a horrible series.
pitching + scoring = win + team effort
pitching + ZERO scoring = lose + effort from only one guy. |

| HAHAHA, good to see this thread back in action after this weekend. Even with the Farnesworth-like performance from Phil Coke last night, the broom still came out and pushed the lowly Red Sox 6.5 back and tied with Texas for the wildcard. Couldn't of asked for a better weekend. |
