Oh yeah, let me guess....the sound system is so good that you guys just can't seem to dance. :p All you guys can do is just stand there in awe, like a bunch of idiots, and worship your DJ like a god. :cool: I guess the sound has "evolved" since the 90s, too. :p
Btw, if the sound was really that good, in the clubs, there would really be no need to be right up, at the DJ booth or on the dance floor.... :cool: |

But which is better?? The edm scene in the 90s-2002 or today's edm scene? This goes for music, the way that parties are thrown, the parties themselves, the DJing at parties, the way that people "party" at events....others...
On a personal note, to me, just standing around on the dance floor, while a DJ spins, is not partying. Dance, you idiots! In the 90s, if you were on the dance floor and all you was doing was standing...there would be a good chance that you would have gotten your ass beat because you are wasting precious dance space. :cool: Get off the dance floor if you're just gonna stand, pumping your fist in the air....Idiot...And not only that, dance good. Just jumping up and down, like a complete in' jackass, does not constitute as successful dancing. Any idiot can do that. You would gotten laughed at, in the 90s, for doing that ...But in' impress some people and learn how to dance good, you idiot! |
nothing has changed except the type of music played lol it's the same , different day/different sound.
the only reason why people will say something like, "man back in [insert year] it was so much BETTER! bla bla bla
it's because their time is over so they are holding onto their own memories and considering them to be better than what's currently going on. |

I think it has less to do with trying to hold on to something in the past as it does with the tendency of people to forget the bad and idealize the good aspects of something over time. |

i remember the bad and the good and i still feel overall "good" remembering those days. i mean they make me laugh now. lol everyone can eventually look back at a bad memory and laugh it out. thus, making it a good memory.
so yea you're wrong moral hazard.
