Nitpicky idea: slap some reverb onto the crashes, right now they're too soft and don't assert themselves enough.
Once the piano comes in, the kick gets a little lost - you should EQ the piano to remove some of its bass frequencies, or sidechain the piano to the kick. (This could just be my monitors deceiving me, though.)
The bassline is also too weak - turn that up! I'm not a huge fan of the saw synth that comes in around 2:15, I find it really cheesy and simple. Perhaps add a few effects to it, like a really pronounced delay or something?
The ending is too abrupt. The track should be longer to allow for more development, something leading into the outro, instead of just ending the way it does.
Hope this helps! |
