This release is thus far my favorite release from Pezzner, and I've been loving everything he has put out. Most of these are tracks that he has been canning in his live PAs for months, so I'm extremely thrilled that they're finally seeing a release. Nothing but lush, groovy, funky music in these.
Domesticated and Life easily win for me, with Life being my favorite; a seriously funky groove and a rock-solid build (though really, it could be shortened a bit) that just explodes into this bit that makes you want to dance your ass off (and I say that from having done so many times). Mix 20 of Plankton is the downer of the release, but the quality of the rest greatly make up for it. The man has been on serious, serious fire.

not bad.
OM is a guilty pleasure of mine because there is a lot on the label i won't touch, but when i do make a purchase it tends to be stuff i beat for a long time.:) |
