BTW, have you listened to my mix yet? I could sure use some pointers, specially from someone as technically advanced as you :p

And yes, I'm aware that makes me look like a gay :stongue:

No problem man, whenever you get around to it. ;)

You know, that damn Existo22 thread made me remember that I made a trance set around 2004 in Traktor 2. I'm pretty sure I have it stashed on one of my computers. All I remember is that I opened with Tiesto - Walking on Clouds, which I mixed into Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (Tiesto Remix). It would be awesome if I could find it, lol.

What sort of crap are you playing that requiers you to get up in the middle and perform an irish jig just to keep the attention of your audience?!

The less time you used to beatmatch, the more time you have to play with clubbers, and better dj you are.

You did mean this as a joke, right?!

Cause at the end, the only thing that count is to make people happy..

I'm going to agree with you on that one!

I'm not telling that beatmatch is not important, but when you know how to do it, you know how to play a set, then the time you spent on beatmatch is wasted time.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that one, and I refer you back to the previous post I made about the wonders of manual mixing.

i should have pre recorded bpms back in 2004, because the music i played (trance) was garbage.

i got paid, but i am really embarrassed, i don't know how the big trance jocks do it with a straight face:p
