yeah I used ST3 as well, got pretty fast with it, with the key combinations.
The 8 bit samples were a bit noisy though :D |

Yep, me. It was terrible :D, incredibly versatile and an interesting sequencer but instable and hard to produce really good sounds on (for me personally, of course).
My most important sequencers in chronological order.
Scream Tracker 3.21 (1995-1999)
Impulse Tracker 2.14 (1999-2002)
Buzz (2002-2004)
Renoise (2004 to now)
I've used Ableton, Cubase and Reason on the side on a couple of releases as well. |

Ha! You young 'uns got it easy. Here's the sequencer and synth I started with (ca 1988).
No fancy software, just a tiny screen, jog wheel, and a couple dozen mini-floppies.

Pffft those wit mad skillz rocked Music-X2 on Amiga 600
Midi out using AMAS and there was a hardware plugin that could sample at 28khz :P
And then chillax after a hard afternoons production by playing Sensible Soccer.
