I was going to say the exact opposite.. I thought the new star wars films were primarily because of the rubbish script. I would have forgiven them the crappy acting.. if he'd written a decent storyline that made sense (i joined the dark side to save you, now i'm going to kill you for no particular reason raaar!); cut out the stupid extraneous characters (jjb); and hadn't shat all over the original (by, for example, turning the force, which was originally mystical and cool, into an easily tested blood disorder)... just a fraction of the huge steaming pile of annoying things in the new star wars movies.. grr [/geekmode] |

Or the fact that the whole thing effects and graphically looks overdone and as if they tried too hard. |

there was a recent anime adaptation that was phenomenal to say the least. Gankutsuou
futuristic-punk with some of the most ingenious animation i've seen in a while. highly recommended. |
