| the americans played better this game then they did all cup.... hats go off to them.... but shows you how good the german defense ...and germany goalie is simple the best goaly simply the best......if americans played mayb any other team with this drive they put they might of won ...but the germans are just so well rounded when it comes to defence ....teams can play better then the germans and still lose the game ....cuz germans are one of the best technical teams in offense and defense they drain there opponents out ..and a goalie like kahn gonna be hard to put goals in ... when americans play hard teams they really play good ..but there not consistant with every team....Good game USA .... GERMANY will win the cup :D i hope |

Germany was so calm when they were attacked by the americans, takin the time to make the right pass instead of just kicking the ball anywhere like some other team. This feat always impresses me. I still say it, Germans don't play spectacular football to please the crowds or TVs (anchors always say the same things about Germany). They just play their system with the best defence so far, 1 goal in 5 games.
Even if they don't win the cup or don't advance more than this, I think they won their bet. They were hoping to just past thru qualification knowing that their team is riddled by injuries. The team is young and is made of above average players, no Maradona or Pele between them. Just solid players.
Their real challenge will be in 2006 and at that point they will have to win it all or at least be serious about it. |
