I came across this really good tutorial on youtube but i dont use fl,,anyone know how to fo this in cubase? he seems to use a function in FL that cubase doesnt have,,(rooting sidechaining to certain knobs)

Well, what he is doing is basically akin to a sidechained gate.
So, the hihats go into the sidechain input on a gate that the white noise goes through, meaning everytime the hats play, the gate lets some of the white noise through. |

| so basically its the reverse of the typical kick ducking the bass,,here the sound is only heard when the trigger triggers it to be heard? is this possible in sx3? |
