Audacity Problem

So i record my studio sets in Audacity and then export to wave and import into Ableton and do all my post processing there.
The problem I am having is that Audacity is apparently exporting invalid wave files because they're not being accepted when I try dragging them into Ableton?
What gives? Anyone experienced this before? Known fix?

| Are you using the microsoft .wav file type? Ableton supports 32bit files but I'm not sure about the sample rate.. Maybe you have it set too high for Ableton. If that doesn't work, post a small sample of your wav file and i'll see if it loads on my setup;) |

| It's only causing problems about 20-30% of the time, I don't mess with anything when I use it. Maybe it's a Vista issue? |

Magically today I log on to my comp and not only is Audacity working fine but Ableton is processing three times as fast. Vista stability issues or something else here what you think guys? I know neither program is 64 bit could this be an issue with performance?
my life! If I only could get equipment to work consistently!:( |
