Can I sell FL Studio?

I've been looking all over the Image Line website and forums, google, etc. and cannot find the answer. I bought FLS Producer edition on a whim years ago and never really used it - it's not even installed on my computer. Anybody know if I can sell, trade, transfer ownership, etc.?

ive had friends that sold of fl and other related to music
production.

i would say if you strike a deal with someone and they agree its a done deal. is it registered in your name?
cryophonik
Yes, it's registered in my name and I should also mention that it's the download version (i.e., not boxed) with lifetime free updates. I don't see anything on their website or forums about transferring the license.

edit: I just found the EULA on their website and it looks like the license (for the boxed version at least) is non-transferable. Guess I'm stuck with it.

unless some one corrects me i don't think you can,but that's not to say its not unsellable just means the person on the other end has to be happy with that arrangement.

you can try ebay but dont hold out for a good sell as fl goes for around 80 bucks brand new these days.

i would say go for a private sale better for both parties really.

NO YOU *CAN NOT* sell FL.

I asked Fl Studio if I could BUY a registered legal version from a guy off ebay (this was about 6 years ago I still think its the same now) and they said no, if they allowed it - it supposively makes it easier for people to abuse the software/crack it or w/e.

I may have the original document they sent (it was like an official brief write up why they don't allow it) but they said exchanging registration keys is not allowed.

Does this mean they'll ever find out and stop you from doing it? No.
But if at any point they find out they can stop giving you keys.

The only thing is, there really is no way they'll find out unless the seller (you) is a scam artist and selling the same key to 20 different people.
So no, they don't allow it from a legal stand point, but that doesn't mean people still don't do it w/out having any problems at all.

Awesome. I love buying software. It's such a great investment.

"$80"? Can you show me 1 legit seller selling it for this price?

Not that I'm saying people don't sell it that cheap, I'm just saying I've always seen new packages going for around $300, unless you're talking about one of the crappy versions, like the student version.
cryophonik
Thanks for the replies, guys, but I'm not going to violate the EULA and I really don't need the money. I was just thinking that someone else could probably get some use out of it since I'm not using it. I'll hang on to it in case I need it for a collab or whatever in the future.

the full version is pointless best of getting a normal version. then add the rest as you go like most people.

if you get good use out of the full verion then it's happy days but with competition being fierce these days i guess fl have no choice but to drop prices.
