Microcastle Music: Featured Label on ProgressiveHouse.com:
http://progressivehouse.com/labels/microCastle%20Music

For its second release, microCastle Music presents a new EP by Philadelphia-based DJ and producer, Jacob Henry. The Original Mix is a tech-prog journey through the middle of a turbulent city landscape: The haunting vocal stabs, municipal effects, and ominous pads paint a portrait of a Gotham-like metropolis quickly spiralling out of control. Peter Martin’s Cinematic mix accentuates this mood; a sprawling progressive interpretation with a gorgeous musical breakdown and a classy timeless feel that peaks with an atmospheric, swirling, effects-laden climax that is truly unforgettable. Next up is Peter’s microClub Dub which retains the wicked groove of his Cinematic mix but is stripped down and shortened making it more accessible to a broader range of club dancefloors. Early DJ support for Peter’s mixes comes from Hernan Cattaneo who has been dropping both versions for the past month now with great success. Glide, whose "Cassini" was an album highlight
of Nick Warren's celebrated Global Underground 35: Lima compilation, provides a more laid back tech house take with an extended beatless introduction and a great hypnotic groove throughout -- sure to kick off any deep prog DJ set on the right foot. One of the hottest and fastest rising stars in the progressive dance scene…Ad Brown (Black Hole) provides the next interpretation. His mix is the most upbeat and melodic take, while still retaining the spirit of the original in the sample-infused breakdown. Recent Ad Brown productions have been supported by Nick Warren and played on Radio 1. Finally, fellow UK producer Stallos provides a similar rendering to the original, with shuffling rhythms, disorienting vocal hits, and of course, a dirty tech bassline. Recent Stallos productions have been featured on the 16 Bit Lolita’s Warung Brazil CD on Hope.

Received a few e-mails about the vocal samples in the track -- all taken from this clip (incidentally, I noticed that this film was mentioned a few times in the TA favorite movie poll):
