i am not sure i find that funny. it think it is kind of sad that other people cannot understand why we choose to appreciate a certain type of music. i mean, i am not criticizing house and garage just because I happen to think that Trance is musically more stimulating.
why can't people accept that not everyone has the same tastes? |

I know what you mean, but you just have to accept that there are a lot of very narrow-minded people about. Nothing can change their views because they're too arrogant to listen. So you can either get faustrated over it or take the piss outta their stupidity and lack of knoledge. Taking the piss is funnier:D:D |

the sad part is, sometimes i am a total hypocrite, where i get into the mindset that trance is everything and why would i listen to anything else. i can usually pull myself out of that type of thinking and open up to new types of music but it doesn't change the fact that trance does more for me than other types of music.
but if everyone was open minded and appreciated trance, we wouldn't have such a tight underground community, would we? so i guess i will accept the narrow-mindedness of pop culture and be glad that it indirectly allows for a subculture such as this. (well it's a subculture in the US anyway, I don't know about europe, but i think that is another topic.) |

Go into the why section and near the top it says that the writer doesn't mind people that listen to trance, but hates the people that say that trance is the best and that house sucks. Later he goes on to say that house is the best and that trance sucks... he is contridicting his whole concept!
Some people just piss me off. |

| The funny thing is that Trance is not 'played in every club by ever DJ'. Here in America, they never play any uplifting Euro-Trance at all (well, hardly any). They mostly play drum&bass, hip-hop/rap, and some house/lounge. |
