| Alcohol withdrawal is pretty much the worst there is, except maybe benzos. Withdrawal from cocaine and heroin is basically never deadly for otherwise healthy people, while alcohol withdrawal can kill fairly easily. |

Last I heard alcohol kills more people than crack, cocain, and heroin combined each year. Alcohol is so terrible because it's socially acceptable. |
