even if you don't list them...they will check most of the time. A lot of companies have hr people that do nothing but that. I don't think it is going too far. Everything you do on the internet can have a consequence, do not use your real name:p

That's ing retarded. I already think it's bad enough that they perform credit checks. Knowing what web sites you post on and visit is taking it too far.

My job asked if I posted on websites as well. I couldn't lie. I let them know where I posted and I think it may have ended there. As long as you're honest and the website isn't 99waystokillyourboss.net you're ok.

Why do you think credit checks are bad? Not being able to handle or manage your money can transfer to not being able to handle a heavy work load.
