perugia's coach is toally right...ur paying this guy millions of dollars to perform for ur club team...he doesnt perform at all...world cup comes around and all of a sudden hes a superstar? and hes getting paid 0$ for being in the world cup? u can his ass...i hope they do the same to the brazilian players as well...because each and every single brazilian player had their worst career year this year in the serie A teams that they played on and now all of a sudden theyre amazing thats bull...if ur a club and ur paying these players the amounts theyre getting paid u want them performing that same way all the time...its ridiculous...

who cares, soccer is very important in italy and italians don't like him so he shouldn't play in italy... that's the way things work

Damn...that's pretty ed up if you asked me.
Then again, I feel the president of that club.
But still. That's pretty bitterness, and taking your anger out by releasing him? How immature.
Somebody should give the man some lollypops...maybe that'll quit his crying.

none of u seem to know any italian ppl the ones i know say that they change their wife before there football team so go figure :p anyways the owner is the OWNER of the team so he can pretty much do anything he likes so why argue about it  :p

i felt it was an immature decision

under those standards, everyone from team canada playing in a US city should be released to free agency. i mean, we did kick their ass in the gold medal game of the olympics. right?

this is obviously an act of SOUR GRAPES and i think its almost laughable at how the italians are reacting on their loss to korea. i read in the papers today that the italian media is going to sue fifa because of the poor officiating that resulted in their country's early exit. this early exit may affect a loss in advertising revenue.

i think thats bull. poor officiating has always been a part of every single major league sport on this planet. the NHL, NBA, NFL and MLB all have had their fair share of officiating problems. it is human nature. people make mistakes. we do not have cyborgs running around making the right calls 100% of the time. there are bound to be flaws. if you can make a case for that, how many lawsuits do you think we would have in our 4 major league sports in north america?

anyway back to the original topic. i can understand why they wouldn't want to keep the korean player on their team but i question the timing of this decision. the guy is still playing for a world cup. if he had any class at all, he would have announced his decision after the tournament.

wow, I've heard of bad losers, but Italy are something different altogether. They seriously expected Ahn not to try because he played for an Italian club, thats ing pathetic  Italy were outplayed and deserved to go out cos frankly they're the most boring team to watch EVER, sit back and defend a 1-0 lead for 70 mins against a team thats constantly on the attack  nice move :p
