| not really newsworthy - people aren't arrested for possession of marijuana for personal use under federal law (99.999999% of possession cases for personal use are brought under state law). if the bill doesn't allow wholesale of marijuana across state borders, then states will not decriminalize the possession during budget crisis periods because they can get tons of money by way of fines for possession. However, if states could tax the sale of marijuana, that's an entirely different story. |

they should legalize all drugs.

While I agree with legalizing cannabis & xtc, I don't think the govt or private companies should be in the business of providing cheap but deadly drugs such as heroin, crack, meth ect. |
