Im sorry if yall think Im posing. matter of fact, I havent smoked a large amount of weed in one night for over a year now. I also havent popped E in a couple of months. however, I do remember how you feel while high on both.

Not at all,
one of my favourite tracks, that is incredibly trippey while sober, the melody is just too fast for when I'm stoned so it's just pretty meh. (psychaos-keyboard window btw). I don't think deep house would sound that great while stoned either. I know minimal acid or whatever you'd call plastikman doesn't, you don't want repetition while stoned. So techno is pretty much out.
Psy-ambient sounds awesome however. I think one of the most important things while stoned is for the tracks to have a relatively open structure... so stuff like Tool, ambient, or some psy (and some death metal :gsmile: ) actually works really well. but mostly: certain types of ambient, goa (and some psy), doom metal (in particular sludge and its worth noting that I don't like stoner doom at all, too cheesy even while stoned) and prog metal tend to be the best while stoned. Probably prog postish rock too, but I'm not a fan of lighter rock.
Also, needless to say the really reggae ey dub is awesome too.
Although I've never done e, it would seem that all the effects are exactly the same as if you're manic. Which I have been a few times. So i guess just something really uplifting while reasonably solid. I really really enjoyed matrix and futurebound-Universal truth while manic.

F&M sound amazing even when you're sober!
I like to choose music that I already love, so it just sounds even better. There is no music I listen to only when I'm high.

I guess we're different but I can put on almost anything that I DJ while baked and enjoy it.
Some are more interesting or stimulating than others but good music is good music imo...

you can say that, but there might be people who dont have your confidence as a sober person. thats why niggas need to dig some weed for certain tracks.
