Hey guys my other remix of this track got ruined because of a HDD format so I decided to put this together as a set starter/intro.

Let me know how you feel about it :)

I think in the beggining you should layer a few more pads together, as you already have a base to lay down quite a nice atmosphere. Piano is nice, but I didn't really like the sample you've chose. The outro is quite empty, I'd like to hear some more sounds used!

its not really supposed to be a crazy song just a subtle opening set track kinda like this.

Steve Forte Rio featuring JES - Blossom (Lounge Mix)

and where that last beat drops is where the set is supposed to begin like hwo that track is used in ISOS 7: Disc 2.

I think i will try to incorporate a few more atmospheric sound effects though.

Thanks for your feedback!

Good idea for an intro, but I have so say that if you were going to make a statement then this is a little on the dry side. The back ground effects are good but I feel that the whole thing sounds a little like it comes straight from the sample banks of a sound card.

You may also need to roll a little of the pads at the top end just to push the pads back a little otherwise the Piano stops being the main element and this becomes a little too in your face.

Creative use of reverb would go a long way too.

Set up a bus with a drum room style verb just to make it sound like the instruments occupy an immeadiate physical space and another bus with a longer verb to give more atmosphere. Route all mid to high components here to give the impression that they occupy the same physical space and this will sound less dry.

As stated, I would strongly advise that you layer the pad with something else because as it stands it tends to sound a bit 'this will do'.

In terms of composition I think you have a great idea for an intro but does need some work, if this is your intro you need to make a statement and it needs to be bold and emmotional.

Thanks for sharing though.

Cheers
