listen to its bass and structure, u'll never find a techno track with such a bass. it's unacceptable for techno. i don't know why but when many people hear a steady bass that doesn't go anywhere they automatically think that track is techno. but it's not! techno in general is not characterized by its bass. a hard bass is not what makes it techno. call it hard trance or hardstyle, i don't care... but one think i know for sure 'hardcore' by cosmic gate has nothing to do with techno :wtf: |

Hey guys, why do you always have to go and ruin good song by trying to class them into a genre. The whole idea of a good song is that it breaks a genre, it new, different to anything before it.
To help settle your argument but:
Cosmic Gate = hard trance (Loud, strong bass, good melodies)
Kai Tracid = hard [insert styles here, commonly used: trance/techno/house/dance] |
