It's been so long since I have been on here. It's a shame because I used to have some great mates on the site.
My life has changed beyond recognition since I used this site on a regular basis! I am married, 1 month away from becoming a father. I work 70 hr weeks policing the Thames Valley. Not much time for going out really.
What about everyone else? Where has your life taken you? |

Congratulations on being a soon too be father, but unlucky on getting married. 70hrs a week? that's a bit mental, you're not going to be able to spend a lot of time with your kid working those hours :(.
Myself, I'm currently living in Preston and working as a data analyst, it's a really good job, but not a day goes by when I wish it was 6 or so years ago and I was back in sixth form!
I'm producing a lot nowadays, but I still get the time to get out and about, just not as much as I used too. God damn getting old.
Has life taken me where I expected it too? no, but I'm dealing with it just fine :D.
But one thing hasn't changed, I still spend far too much time on TA.
Good to hear you're still alive :). |

Haha if anything I'm going out more now than ever. Got bored of ty jobs and finance so started uni last September doing a degree in 3D Computer Generated Imagery: Animation and Modelling.
Right at this moment I'm currently in Ibiza doing my first season. Sat using the Wifi at a cafe in the west end listening to this months new trance ready for a 3 hour set I managed to sort out for tomorrow night.
I'm still absolutely in love with trance though so that hasn't changed at all but I'm playing out a lot more which is nice. Playing Nu-Passion at some point soon, very exciting! :)
Finally gave my fioncee the boot about 2 years ago and living the single life and loving it, I'm in absolutely no rush to settle down and certainly don't want kids.
I'm pretty much living out my early 20's again although I don't get so battered any more. These days it's every other week rather than every week haha :happy2:
Good times. |

Haha, thats the way to do it, I hate the idea of sticking to something that bores the hell out of you, you have to just go and do it, did you have contacts in Ibiza or did you just turn up with some tunes lol? |

I've gone a long long way as norman cook said in praise you. Not nearly as ty as I was, dealt with the anxiety issues & now working with my gp on what started that off in the first place. Have good days & bad but aspiring to goto university either in 2010 or 2011 and actually make something of myself. Still have many limitations due to illness but i've learned to accept that.
congrats tyz. holy , jons alive and Vic, well I've spoken to him so knew what he was upto :p |

I didn't know too many people on here but this is the most interesting thread I've seen in some time so I'm going to get in.
When I first came to the site I was an undergraduate, beginning to produce music, no girlfriend & had a basic diving qualification.
Now:
Work in Industrial Environmental Regulation for the Environment Agency. Basically inspecting major industry and waste management sites emissions and process performance. Which is a long way from my RAF Pilot plan.......
Girlfriend of 3 years and a 3 month old son
Mortgage :whip:
Just signed some tracks to a couple of labels.
Got stuck in to deep wreck diving, something which I may have to calm down on now with being a Dad, as this has nearly killed me a few times.
Like many others, trance & prog from 1996 to about 2003 is still very much my favourite. But there is still some awesome stuff around if you take the time to search.
And I still DJ only from vinyl which makes me a bit of a weirdo now I think |

| Damn!! pretty funny to hear how everyone has grown up. Joined the site a long time ago when I was just starting uni and clubbing at slinky every weekend. These days, I've bought and sold 2 houses and now work in a school... who would have thought it :) |

Hooray for old school TA's :)
I'm currently jobless, turned 27 recently, not married and no kids either :)
Sorted out a few issues I had and hope to find work again soon :D
Grats on the marriage & babies and stuff! :) |
