I think it's ing brilliant apart from the stupid vocals which totally ruin the tune for me. :whip:
I hope you don't mean the choral vocals, which are the only thing that really make this track for me. Yes it's a massively important classic, but honestly? It's pretty bare-boned even for the standards of its day.

Not the best ever, but definitely a classic.
Seriously though, we need to reach an agreement on the best track ever so I can start sleeping properly again.

No, I mean the stupid vocals "Come on, dance with me, move your body and something about the beat"

I guess few over here ever heard Follow Me in a club (12 minutes :) )
It's one of my favourites next to The First Rebirth.
But I can agree on calling "Age Of Love - The Age Of Love (Watch Out For Stella Club Mix)" the greatest EDM track ever for several reasons.
One of those is just to lol at everyone who thinks trance shouldn't have vocals.
Next to its sound and age, another minor reason is that it was the first track of the great Trance Nation series.
Highest chart position is not most important. The track also appeared at many many compilations.
Another track which would qualify would be "Born Slippy", however I don't like that one that much (but it also have vocals :) )
Personally I would like to see this one rank high, but it never will because of a obvious reason: Cosmos

damn I co-sign all of this.
you're born in 1974 so you obviously entered the rave scene before any of us did. I believe your opinion has more credentials than most of us, if not all of us.

the ending always blows my mind. I love how it ends from 5:45 and onward. this joint was ahead of its time

I prefer Jam and Spoon's own "Stella."
Zharen
Prefer the Wrecked Angle Mix more myself. Jam and Spoon mix I consider average.
