Hi everyone!

Seems that summer finally landed even to Finland, so I decided to make a bit more summer feeling mix this time!
The mix includes nice house / trance stuff (Trouse!) and to the end it gets a bit more banging, ending to Airbases massive new track, Back.

Hope you enjoy it and have a great summer!

Tracklist:
1. Tenishia - Everything (Big Room Mix)
2. Goran Toprek - Endless Summer (Original Mix)
3. Michael Angelo - Disconnected (Myon & Shane54 Remix)
4. Coldplay - Viva La Vida (Flight & Jontey vs Orion Bootleg)
5. Ville Lope - Passive Attack (Nervous Testpilot Remix)
6. Michael Jackson - Smooth Criminal (Klauss Bootleg)
7. Ferry Corsten - We Belong (Tritonal Remix)
8. Oceanlab - Lonely Girl (Gareth Emery Remix)
9. Emotional Horizons - Beautiful (Original Mix)
10. Airbase - Back (Original Mix) // choon! of the month

DOWNLOAD THE MIX

Feedback most appreciated!

Really like all track´s except for Viva la vida wich I like in it´s original.
Smothely mixed especially 6->7
Gareth Emery´s remix of Lonely Girl is OMG!!
8->9 a little out of tune but a really good track.

Just listened to your mix. Some nice tunes and good mixing imo! :) I just didn't feel the Michael Jackson tune, but overall I really liked it. Nice relaxed mix with some banging tunes at the end.

Maybe you dig this mix by me? :)

You hit the light, summerish feeling quite well. Transitions are ok. I just think they tend to be too obvious. I mean to let a track play until almost the very end before the new track becomes hearable is not good. You lose a lot of energy and flow, examples are especially 2->3 and 5->6.
Best transition is indeed 6->7!

Track 2 has great potential. Played faster at around 140+ and with a less progressive structure it would be very uplifting with a lot of energy. Track 7 also is very sweet, but I never did and never will like autotuned vocals. In general you used a bit too much of vocals, but that's just my taste. ;)

My advice regarding overall structure would be to remove tracks 8 and 9 and to build a progression that brings the listener smoothly from 7 to 10.

Thanks for the comments!

DJSoulstone: Yeah, I agree with your point on more aggressive transitions, yet these more housey tunes have only like 1 minute of beats in the beginning of the track, and since some of them are not in key, you can't mix them on too long without the transition sounding too hasty. Usually I select the tunes more in the way they fit together, building a much more solid structure, but this is kinda special summer mix, so I had some must-play tunes to fit in this one.

Well for whatever reason you've got me listening to trance for the first time in a long time, and I'm enjoying it, so that's a good thing.
That Lonely Girl remix is quite big, yes.
